Emma was an 18-year old from Mt. Vernon, IL. She was a college student at SIU Edwardsville. Emma was killed in a traffic crash involving a distracted and impaired driver on I-57 in Jefferson County.


Cook County

Doug DeMott was a 52 year old generous and witty family man from Palos Heights who enjoyed film and his vinyl collection. Doug was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding his bike.


St. Clair County

Dennis was a 38-year old construction worker from Pocahontas, IL. He was a father of three who loved hunting and being outdoors. Dennis was killed in a vehicle crash while doing a striping job in St. Clair County.


Cook County

Jesse was a 67-year old caring and loving family man who had a pilot’s license and loved playing guitar and storytelling. Jesse was killed in a vehicle/bicycle collision while bicycling in Cook County.


Madison County

Markia was a 35 year old small business owner and devoted single mother to her son, Malik. She loved spending time with her son, fishing, camping, and riding her motorcycle. Markia was killed in a traffic crash with a vehicle while riding her motorcycle in Madison County.


McLean County

Micheal was a 22 year old student at Illinois State University. Micheal was a stand-out athlete at Normal West High School and Heartland Community College. He was also an assistant coach at University High School. Two weeks before his graduation, he was killed in a traffic crash involving an impaired driver in McLean County.


Peoria County

Brooklyn was a 16-year old sophomore at Carlinville High School. She was a cheerleader, who played soccer and volleyball, and was a member of the track team. She also played in the band and served on student council. She was killed in a traffic crash when the truck she was riding in lost control in icy conditions. She wasn't wearing her seat belt.


Cook County

Frank was a 59-year old road construction worker. He was also a father who enjoyed life, especially karaoke. Frank was killed in a vehicle crash while working in a highway work zone in Cook County.


McHenry County

Sarah was a 27 year old certified veterinary technician. She was also a wife and mother. Sarah was killed in a traffic crash while texting and driving.


Winnebago County

Christopher was a 20 year old machinist who loved fishing, music and his dog. He enjoyed playing hockey with the Rockford Hockey Club and Kings Hockey Club. He was killed in a traffic crash involving an impaired driver in Winnebago County.
